Forza Horizon 5 has been around for over four years, yet it remains one of the most popular racing games out there. I played it at launch, spent a full year on it, and recently returned after buying a new Cosmic Byte Ares Pro controller. This time, I grabbed the Premium Edition for ₹2700. So, is the game still worth playing in 2025?
Content and Gameplay
The base edition alone packs in:- 10+ story campaigns
- 100+ races covering street, road, and off-road
- 800+ cars to collect and drive
- Event Lab for custom tracks and modes
- Dozens of PR stunts like speed zones and drift challenges
That’s over 50 hours of solid gameplay.
On top of that, two expansions add even more:
Hot Wheels Expansion – floating island, with many new race events, biomes, and 10 cars
Rally Adventure – brand-new rally map, 20+ Races with 10 more cars
Together, they bring the experience up to 80+ hours just for main objectives.
Multiplayer Fun
The multiplayer modes make the game even bigger:
- Co-op for all races
- 12-player convoys with friends
- PvP modes like Eliminator, Horizon Open, and Rivals
- Full cross-play between PC and consoles
Performance
One of FH5’s best qualities is how well it plays. The mechanics are super polished, visuals are beautiful, and it even runs smoothly on older GPUs.
Verdict
Even after four years, Forza Horizon 5 is absolutely worth it. With hundreds of hours of content, addictive gameplay, and top-notch optimization, it still feels fresh in 2025. The only drawback? Don’t pay full price since it’s an older title. Grab it on discount and you won’t regret it.
