If you’re a rally fan like me, Dirt Rally 2.0 is unbeatable. It was the top simulator back then, dominating YouTube gaming sections. The physics are incredibly realistic, with immersive handling making every car feel unique. That’s why it remains one of the best rally games ever.
2. Real Racing 3
Mobile gamers, you’ve definitely played Real Racing 3. Released in 2013, it amazed players with licensed cars, console-like graphics, and real tracks when few mobile games delivered that. People used it to test new phones. Unfortunately, it will shut down in March 2026, but the memories will last forever.
3. Midnight Club: Los Angeles
Not huge in India because of PS/Xbox exclusivity, but globally, Midnight Club: Los Angeles ruled with unmatched open-world street racing. The realistic LA map, deep customization, and solid physics made it a standout in 2008. Gamers still call it GOATED today.
4. Mario Kart 8
How can we skip Mario Kart 8 in GOATED racing discussions? The Switch isn’t huge in India, but worldwide, it’s king. There are tons of tracks, chaotic multiplayer, and endless replayability. It’s considered the best Mario Kart by fans.
5. The Crew 2
The Crew 2 needs no introduction. You can explore the entire USA seamlessly, without loading screens between cities. It offers a crazy variety of vehicles: cars, bikes, planes, boats, and helicopters. Epic customization is a highlight, although handling wasn’t perfect. Still, it was super fun, and I played it a lot.
6. BeamNG.Drive
BeamNG.Drive is pure genius. Everyone knows it. The soft body physics make crashes, deformations, and driving feel hyper-realistic. Limitless customization and mods keep experiments going. Players still enjoy it daily.
7. Asphalt 8
Mobile gamers understand Asphalt 8's magic. I was obsessed, spending hours jumping, unlocking cars, nitro takedowns, and beating friends in local multiplayer. It has top-notch performance, graphics, and music. It’s perfect in every way. My memories are filled with it, and many of you feel the same.
8. Assetto Corsa
Assetto Corsa speaks for itself. You’ve seen the YouTube videos. It’s famous for sim racing with laser-scanned real tracks and accurate physics. The mod community is thriving with BMWs, PSCs, and more being created daily. It’s definitely GOATED in its genre.
9. Forza Horizon 4
Forza Horizon 5 exists, but Horizon 4 is widely considered the best. The recreation of Britain is realistic, with seasonal changes affecting driving, over 500 cars, and a massive open world. I’m a huge Forza fan and played 3, 4, and 5, but 4's vibe is unmatched. A separate video is coming for a deep dive!
10. Need for Speed Most Wanted (2005)
NFS Most Wanted 2005? No explanation needed. Everyone played it. It was incredibly popular then and now, with YouTube full of videos. The story, police pursuits, heat levels, gameplay, and music are all GOATED. I even skipped school to play it. It’s my favorite arcade racer ever. No denying this legend!
